The station is located beside the Majestic transport district, west of Bengaluru’s central business area. It stands close to Kempegowda Bus Station, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Metro Station and several major roads serving central Bengaluru.
The main passenger frontage is on Gubbi Thotadappa Road. This side provides access to the primary concourse, ticketing facilities and Platform 1 and is generally the easiest entrance for first-time visitors.
Another entrance serves the western side of the station near the higher-numbered platforms. It can reduce walking for passengers whose trains use Platforms 7 to 10.
