Ring Size Chart (US, UK, EU) + Canada Guide
Use this ring size chart to compare and convert US/Canada, UK and EU ring sizes. It also includes inside diameter and finger circumference in millimetres (mm) to help you measure at home.
Quick Notes (Canada Ring Sizes)
- Canada typically uses US ring sizing. If a chart says “US size”, it generally applies to Canada.
- Ring fit can vary by style (wide bands often feel tighter) and by manufacturer.
How to Measure Ring Size at Home
- Best method (existing ring): Measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits you well (in mm) and match it to the table below.
- Alternative (string/paper strip): Wrap a thin strip around your finger (snug, not tight), mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in mm. That is your circumference.
- Measure at a time when your fingers are normal temperature (cold can shrink, heat can swell).
- If you’re between sizes, choose the larger size (especially for wider bands).

Common Ring Sizing Tips
- Wider bands: often feel tighter. Consider going up by 0.5 size for comfort.
- Knuckles: if your knuckle is larger than your finger base, size so the ring can pass over the knuckle but still sits comfortably.
- Right vs left hand: fingers can differ slightly between hands—measure the exact finger you’ll wear the ring on.
- Best accuracy: for important purchases, confirm with a jeweller sizing tool.
